Installation of 2 New SVD Rectors in the Bontoc-Lagawe Vicariate

On June 13, 2011, Bishop Rodolfo Beltran, DD, the Bishop of the Vicariate of Bontoc Lagawe, installed Fr. Cirilo Ebisa, SVD as the new Mission Rector of St. Anthony de Padua of  Catholic Mission in Aguinaldo, Ifugao . 

Bishop Beltran told the congregation the importance of supporting their Rector since the needs are many and distance of the communities from one another is far and wide. The Provincial superior, Fr. Jerome Adriatico, SVD, on the other hand stressed on the importance of cooperation and trust as means to realize the vision and mission of the community.

Aside from the installation, it was also the a send off for their former Rector, Fr. Judy Bañez, SVD who was appointed new assistant parish priest of Immaculate Conception Parish in Dana-ili, Cagayan. The people thanked Fr. Bañez for being able to visit  all the communities in the parish during his nine months of  stay in the parish.

On June 14, Fr. Aljiovanie Abrasado, SVD was also installed by Bishop Beltran as Mission Rector of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Mission and Director of Assumption Academy in Mayoyao, Ifugao.

Before the students and the community, Bishop Beltran highlighted about working with the grace of God and allowing the Spirit to work in the community. The provincial, Fr. Adriatico, expressed his gratitude to the community for accepting Fr. Abrazado as the new rector of the mission station and director of the school.
